Medrol Dose Pack And Numbness

I took a medrol dose pack last week and finished it Wednesday December 28th. On day 5 of the pack I began to experience numbness in hands and fingers and pain in my arms and elbows. I have an intense backache and my trunk is tender to the touch. I'm also retaining water in my abdomen. My prescribing doctor and pharmacist never heard of these side effects even though they are listed on the package insert. I'm concerned if this is permanent and don't know who to ask since the health care professionals I spoke to never heard of these side effects. I am extremely worried.

Yes, these can be typical side effects of this medication, according to FDA reports. However, they should go away, now that you've finished your course of treatment, but it make take a couple of weeks.

Has there been any improvement, yet? Are you on any other medications?
