Medicines After Angioplasty

My husband had undergone angioplasty 10 months ago. He has been prescribed Cardace 10 mg, clopilet 75 mg, ecosprin 150 mg, covance D, rosuvas 20 and amlopres AT. How long should he continue with all these medicines. Is it ok if he takes either ecosprin or clopilet as in my opinion both these medicines are for thinning of blood. Please suggest.

My father, 75 years old, had undergone ANGIOPLASTY on 29/06/12 and 2 Stents being used at LAD & LCX. On discharge, doctor prescribed
1. one PAN 40 in empty stomach
2. one ECOSPRIN 325, one METALAR 25 & one CLOPILET 75 after lunch
3. one STORVAS 80 after Dinner
4. NICORAM 5 1 table / thrice daily
Before Angioplasty, he never had taken any type of above drugs. Now, he is feeling a headache and feeling cold in this hot season at Kolkata (35 degree average).
My question is that whether above medicines are correct for him without any side-effect.
I had an angioplasty in June 2009, and stent placed in LCX. Since than I an taking one PLAVIX 75 mg and one ASPRIN 81 mg daily. My question is that How long do i need to take theese medicines? I am OK withjout any side effect of these medicines. Please reply by e-mail.
Why the following medicine is prescribed and what are the side effects from these medicines.Glyree-M1 Ecosprin-150 Tonact 40 Amloz 2.5 Pletoz 50 Clopivas 75 Orofer XT Amifru Envas 5mg
as u write that ur husband had undergone an angioplasty, all these medication are necessary but i m confused why he is prescribind covance d and amlopress AT both bcoz both are very potent antihypertensives ...pls tell me wat was ur husband BP level before angioplasty
First, I would like to state that this site is not medical professionals, so we cannot possibly suggest any changes or duration to his use of these medications.
How long he needs to use them is something he will need to discuss with his doctor, it may even need to be a lifelong thing, but only they can decide that.
Now, there is probably a reason that his doctor has him on both the Clopilet, which contains Clopidogrel and the Ecosprin, which contains Aspirin.
They do not work the same.
The Clopidogrel is actually an agent that inhibits clotting, the Aspirin is a blood thinner, so they actually are different medications. I would not suggest dropping one without his doctors approval.

Is there anything else I can help you with?
