Medicine Missing When I Got Home From Pharmacy

I take 1mg Xanax 3 times a day which = 90 pills. Well I went and picked up them & my Anti-depressants from my pharmacy...& it's a small pharmacy. The Pharmacist is the kindest woman, who's husband used to own it but died a tragic death many years ago. So his amazing, sweet, just genuinely kind wife took it over. The Pharmacist and I formed a bond right away because her husband was so kind...I knew she would be too. (I'm 26 & she's around her 40's.) she loves fashion & my job and all of that. For the most part the staff of hers that I met are AMAZING, genuine people. (I haven't met everyone though...like good enough to know what type of person they are, but even the ones I don't know that well they all still seem so kind & genuine.)

SO My question is: I got my meds (they were in the same bag together) & put it in my purse got home and I opened the bottle of Xanax & it looked almost empty!!!! Over 30 pills are missing!!! I have NEVER had medicine missing from her pharmacy before & so now I have no clue what to do...I adore her & DON'T want to accuse her staff of stealing but I was thinking maybe they counted wrong? Or that they put it in two different bottles & forgot to give me the other bottle's? I mean I really can't imagine the staff stealing pills from me. Could it have been an accident? And what should I do? Like should I call and tell the pharmacist about it? & if I do what do I say without sounding like I'm insinuating that some one of her staff members stole it...because I don't want to offend her! And final questions 1. Has this happened to anyone before? & 2. Is there any chance I'll actually get my missing medicine back??? Help!

Although they are highly trained it sounds like they just made a filling mistake even though sometimes a pharmacist will take their 'commission'. I once was given Zantac instead of Xanax, and this is before I knew to look them up on the Internet. The pharmacist was so sorry that he offered to bring me the correct pills at work. I told him I would just stop in after work. Give them a call or bring in the bottle and they should assist you as you sound very honest!
