Medication That Is Ten Years Old
UpdatedI found a prescription of hydrocodone from 2000 and my mother was wondering if you could still take them? I dont know if they are toxic or not so i am trying to find out before she takes them.

Neither the Hydrocodone, nor Acetaminophen become toxic, after the expiration, but they do lose effectiveness. After 10 years, the chance of them actually having any beneficial effect isn't very high.
You would be better served to just properly dispose of them.
