Medication Belbuca
UpdatedMy Dr. is wanting to put me on Belbuca for my pain. Could you please tell me a little more about it?

It contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which is a potent opiate. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache.
Not everyone that tries it achieves pain relief, but the only way to find out how it will work for you is by trying it.
Are you on any other medications?
