I'm sorry, but I can't find anything specific listed under the name Medicans, other than that it refers to over the counter herbal treatments. Is there a specific product you are referring to?
A blood pressure reading like that is very low and, if it is causing you symptoms, then something should be done about it.
Have you discussed it with your doctor?
Both the Carvedilol and the Losartan that you are taking can lower blood pressure and it seems, they are lowering it too much.
There are two possible reasons, one could be that the dosage is too high, so your doctor may need to lower them and the second possibility is taking them both, at the same time, in the morning.
Although taking them that way can make it easier to remember to take them, it can cause them to have a synergistic effect on each other and cause them to work too well. Sometimes, it is better to split the doses and take them more than once a day, or to take them several hours apart. Such as taking one at breakfast time and the other at lunch.
I have a lot of experience at having to play around with medication dosages like that. We've consistently had to lower mine and adjust when I take them, for almost a year now.
And while I am not a doctor, my guess, from my own experience and from working with my doctor would be that the Losartan is probably the one causing the problem.
I take another medication, in the same class, Atacand, which contains the active ingredient Candesartan and any time I take it, at the same time I take the Carvedilol, my blood pressure bottoms out. I have to take the Carvedilol in the morning and at night, then the Atacand in the evening, about 3 hours, before I take the Carvedilol, to prevent my blood pressure from going too low.
It can also be a problem if you are taking them on an empty stomach, because then they can work too fast and really have an effect on each other. So, you should always make sure you take them right when you sit down for a meal, start your breakfast or lunch, then swallow the pills.
