Me And Prolia Inj's.
UpdatedHello my name is Susie. In july 2012 I had my first inj of Prolia. A month afterwards I contracted flu like symptoms, another month down the road i became very ill again. I went to my primary care doctor and he told me it was a viral infection and it would have to run its course. Another month passed and then the symptoms now worsened. The symptoms were as follows: weakness, muscle pain, loss of appetite with severe weight loss, fatigue. At this time I thought something very serious was going on inside my body such as, cancer, or my life was being taken away from me. 6 months passed. 2nd round of prolia the dr assured me that this was not coming from the inj. I was 49 years of age now 52. I worked everyday of my life without missing anytime from work. now I am completely disabled due to celiacs disease, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and complex migraine syndrome. Since the last inj my life has spiraled out of control. I have been to numerous drs near and far. the main ones are at Baptist hospital in nc, neurologist mainly and I have not received a definite answer or diagnosis in 3 years. I have been evaluated for MS, mystenia gravis, lupus and numerous other things. But I do know this before I took these inj's I was an active worker, mother, grandmother and now about every two weeks I am confined to my bed with symptoms so bad someone has to stop what they are doing to come and help me out, to go to the bathroom, shower and all other activities. I believe the prolia inj has turned my normal life into a living nightmare that I cannot wake from. Somebody please help.

Hello, Susie! How are you? I'm very sorry about what's happened, that's horrible.
Yes, your symptoms could possibly be from the Prolia, it has happened to other people and many had to stop it. These medications are just actually well known for making people miserable.
Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include administration site soreness, redness, headache and nausea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
