Round tan pill with the initials RDY on one side and 200 on the other side. What is it?

I received pills matching this description with a prescription for Simvastatin (40 mg tablets). The RDY identifies the pills as product of Dr. Reddy Laboratories, but I can't find confirmation that they are what they are supposed to be.

Sorry, I cannot find any listing for this. There are only a few of their pills that are approved for us in the US, if you obtained this via mail order from another country or something, I am afraid we cannot confirm what it is.

I received the same pill for a prescription of Simvastatin 40 mg or Zocor from a reputable pharmacy in Illinois.

Apparently this is a very new generic version, it isn't in any of the professionals databases that I use, or that my colleagues use when ID'ind pills. My doctor could not find it either in her PDA database that she updates daily.

However, many people have received it as a generic for Zocor 40mgs, so I can only assume that it must be.

Here's a similar thread on another site where several people received the same pill and had the same questions and no one there could find info on it, either.
