Mallinckrodt Roxicodone Availability

Why does it seem that the availability of Mallinckrodt's Roxicodone is like the flip of a coin? It's like a guessing game if they decide to make it and get orders out. Are they even still making 30 mg Roxicodone?

At any given pharmacy, the generic they carry really depends on the price set forth, when they need to restock their supply. Pharmacies generally use a vendor, then order in whatever generic the vendor lists as offering the cheapest price, at that time. Thus, the one you receive may change from prescription fill to prescription fill. They do this to help keep prices down for those that do not have prescription coverage.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I was taking the 30mg Generic Roxycodone for a long time until my health care provider tried to force feed me Rhodes. Rhodes Sucks ! Now I have to pay out of pocket for the Generic Roxycodones,with help from an app. But last month they gave me the ones that had a V on them and there alright,better than Rhodes.
