I have irregular periods, however want to become pregnant. Is it safe to take MALA-N?

My doctor prescribed me Mala-N tablets for irregular periods. is it safe to use for regulating periods? Also, are there any adverse effects associated with it?

Hi, Sapna! Sorry about the problem you're having.

Mala-N can help to regulate your cycle, but it is a hormonal contraceptive, so it prevents pregnancy. Thus, you won't be able to get pregnant while taking it.

Has your doctor advised you to take it?

It's really necessary to discover why your cycles are off, in order to find a solution.

I am 22 years old and I have had a problem with irregular menstruation for the past year and now my weight is also increasing. I felt that because of this, somewhere my symptoms indicate that I have a PCOD problem, but I'm not sure about it, and my periods will sometimes come after 2-3 months and last for very short period of time. Is Mala-n tablet beneficial for me?
