Macrobid 100 Mg. Prescribed 2x Daily For 5 Days
UpdatedWhat is it prescribed for? In what amounts? Are there any side effects? Most importantly, is it ever prescribed for kidney infections? If so, how do you take it? Is there anything else important that I need to know?!

It is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The dosage can depend on the severity of the infection being treated.
The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
It should be taken every 12 hours, with a full 8 ounce glass of water, or other liquid.
Is there anything else I can help with?
