i had a car accident on chrismas of 2010 and the mri shows that I have 4disk discarnation in my neck and lower back. the doctor from pain managment prescribed me oxicontin 10mg but I take 40mg a day and now I had a motorcycle accident on may 12 2011 and he prescribe me oxicodone 15mg but the problem is that I get severe constipation, I was thinking that if I take less pills with more dosis I wont have the severe constipation so I think 30mg will be better how can I get them.?

Actually no, a higher dosage would make the constipation worse, it is a very common side effect of these types of medications.

As to how to get a different dosage, they are only available by prescription, so you will have to speak to your doctor about it.

As to the constipation, you might also want to consult with your doctor about using fiber supplements. I found them to be much more helpful than anything else, when I was taking high doses of narcotics.
