Metoprolol And Lisinopril

I WAS ON LISINOPRIL 10 MG DAILY, THE DOCTOR SWITCHED TO METOPROLOL 25 MG. IS THERE ANY BENIFIT?

They are two different types of medications, though they are used to treat the same health issues.

Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor.

Sometimes, one medication works better for someone than another, so if your blood pressure was still a little high, your doctor may just feel that you should try something else.

I am a 39 year old female that is 135 lbs. they have me on 25 mg of Metoprol twice a day, 40 mg of Lisinopril, and 25 mg of Hydrochlorot a day. My 61 year old mother died this past August 29th suddenly while shopping at Meijers of Hypertension. I am scared s***less. I have a 5 & 11 year old. Does this sound like a lot of meds? I just took my pressure. It's 138/93 and I faithfully take my pills. Do I have something to worry about?
