Methylin And Methylphenid
UpdatedMy 5 year old son was givin methylin 5 mg it worked for about a month then stopped, we upped it to the 10mg extended release, he developed anger issues so we decided to go back down the the 5 mg the new script we were givin wasnt methylin 5 mg it's methylphenid 5 mg. my questions is, is that the same thing?

Yes, they are the same. The active ingredient is Methylphenidate, which is also what generics are called, and Methylin is a brand name of Methylphenidate.
