? Md In Central Mass Who Prescribes Pain Meds, As Required On-going Basis.

I hv to chg primary care MD, been on oxycodone + clonazepam a few years, ? an MD (PCP) who will prescribe these or other like meds (w my medical Hx Info) in Central Ma, preferably Leominster/Fitchburg/Worcetser, Central Mass area. I'm used to the pain contract & u.a, pill counts, pain diary.. that don't bother me, as long as my urine tox is ok (as it always was) & I follow what the doc ask of me I'd like to stay on my med routine. Anyone know of an MD who will do this?

Under the new regulations, you're most likely not going to be able to get such medications, on a long-term basis, from a PCP. They are restricted now in what they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescribe it.

Thus, you'll need to set up a relationship with a new PCP and they'll more than likely refer you to a pain management specialist.
