Hello, Kelly! How are you?
The M in a box is a logo used by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they have two tablets that use this marking.
One is blue with the M in a box one side and a small 30 above a score line on the other, which contains 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation.
The other one is a reddish purple with the M on one side and a large 30 on the other, with no scoring that contains 30mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation.
Do either of these match the tablet in question?
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
