Lyrica Lawsuit (Page 54) (Top voted first)

Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

I was lucky not to have any withdrawal effects when I went cold turkey from lyrica.

Hi, has anyone ever heard of bilateral leg paralyzation? Daughter was on it for six weeks then tapered off for 1 week. She was taking 150mg. 1x day. 2 weeks later she can't walk.

Dawn- Just lack of feeling during urination which I have read is another wonderful side effect from the drug so I wouldn't be surprised if losing the ability to walk is from it.

Hi ......I have some nerve paralization. I went to a neurologist and had a test don where they stuck my legs and arms with needles connected to a computer that prints out a reading. The neurologist found nerve damage and recommended that I get IVIG. Now I receive IVIG every 30 days for the past 2 years. I must say its a miracle treatment! It really works for me.

Anji- IVIG is for an immune deficiency as far as I know why are they giving it to you for nerve damage. My daughter gets it every couple of weeks. Do you know what it does?

Dawn was she tested for rhabdomyolysis? I was only on Lyrica for 6 weeks and couldn't walk. After several tests being ran and being in the hospital twice, they finally figured out that I had rhabdo.

If we want lyrica off the market and pursue a class action suit look @ blog 831. We need to get the ball rolling. We need to go public!

Anji- I am so sorry I know how that treatment affects you my daughter and all of her cousins get it every 3 weeks and although it is needed to try to keep them from getting terribly ill it has side effects of its own. I hope it helps you!

Lisa F that is great news , if enough doctors do this then it will generate the momentum needed to remove this vile drug from the market and may be give us the hope of compensation for the damages Lyrica has caused , i am still distressed over what Lyrica did to my sons life and the ongoing torment he faces daily .his ability to concentrate and retain information is still very bad three years after his last dose of Lyrica , studying is very frustrating and difficult especially when he had a brilliant memory before taking Lyrica .

So is mine, nick, and i$e been off almost 6 years. I really have to concetrate. I was put on ambilfy to help the valium I take, but even then I blow up like mt st helen. I usually try to throw something soft. But it seems my temper is getting worse, my husband trys to be funny, but I wish hekd just leave and not come back. Those fellings are becoming more frequent. That lyrica did a number on me. oh i'd getmad but I never saw red. By and good luck to all.

Why has there not been a serious legal PUSH??
PFIZER has payed off Everyone but the VICTIMS
of their Legal DRUG PUSHING..!!
THEY ARE A PHARMACEUTICAL CARTEL..
NOTHING else...
Health Canada is a PUSHOVER..

All of us have been looking for lawyers for a class action suit. No one can find one against lyrica or Pfyzer. :'(

Hi Mary , i see why so many Americans like to carry a gun in the US , there is no rightful justice any more , this Lyrica business is so degrading and hurtful that if i was a US citizen i would be very tempted to march into the Fyyzzer building , find the CEO and share back a token of my own suffering

Yes, I feel the same way about lyrica, but you don't want to go to prison because of lyrica; your son needs you. It was good that one doctor reported lyrica.it's a start. I don't know if you have something like the FDA in your country. If you do write, call or e-mail them. We may not get any compnsation but maybe we can get it pulled. I think after it's off the market, then the lawyers will come out of the closet.

Don t worry Marry , i would never hurt any one ,don t even own a gun , just a cry of frustration and despair , cant except a prescribed drug has caused so much damage, damage that will never heal .

my name is danny i live in alabama i been takein the drug lyrica for over 2 year i have gain 120lbs i have thought of suiside lost intress in everthing have been caught driven got ticket i dont remember gettin so i put in jail for not showin up to court just all kind of stuff the dr just me off them he didnt tell me why i guess he didnt care

HI ROY, I WAS ON LYRICA FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND AT THE END OF THE COMMERCIAL ON TV WHERE THEY ARE TELLING THE SIDE EFFECTS, WELL LET ME JUST SAY I WAS THE POSTER LADY FOR ALL THE SIDE EFFECTS. I CUT MY WRISTS, THANK GOD MY HUSBAND WAS HOME AND STOPPED THE BLEEDING AND WRAPPED MY WRISTS UP, THEN MY MOOD WAS I DIDN'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED, TAKE A BATH, BE AROUND ANYONE, I EVEM TOOK A GUN AND SHOT MY BED. THIS MEDICINE IS DANGEROUS TO TAKE. WHEN I WENT BACK FOR MY NEXT DR APP HE TOOK ME OFF OF IT RIGHT THEN BUT THE DAMAGE HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE. I WOULD CRY ONE MINUTE, THEN HAVE A CRY LAUGH, THEN JUST GO QUITE, MY FAMILY WAS SO WORRIED THEY THOUGHT I HAD A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN AND HAD MY COMITTED FOR 4 DAYS BUT I WAS STILL GETTING THE MEDICINE SO EVEN THOUGH THE 4 DAY COUNCLING HELPED TO TALK ABOUT THINGS I STILL HAD THOSE FEELINGS FROM THE MEDS. NOW I AM ON CYMBALTA FOR MY FIBROMYALGIA. AND I FEEL SOME BETTER BUT STILL HAVE PAIN. IF I COULD FIND AN ATTORNEY WHO WILL TAKE UP THIS CASE I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW.
