Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

Please email me. I hope this gets to you. Today I found a older experienced Attorney today that has agreed to take on Pfizer. He is currently reviewing all of our horror stories on this site right now. He's going to do a Class-Action Lawsuit. He will call me tommorrow afternoon. I will post his name and number as soon as I get it, at least that will help us out a little. This will be the largest class-action lawsuit in history, we're talking 100-500 million dollars and quite possibly alot more, plus going after all of the sorry Doctors that pushed this "miracle drug" on us. At least we won't have to worry about money anymore. And I'm requesting that he ask the judge for free health care, the best the United States has to offer for all of us. Please spread the word.

i also tried to find you on facebook but there were too many results. there is a group called lyrica survivors on facebook and there are many of us looking to file some sort of lawsuit. its not the money...i want to make sure ppl quit getting hurt by this stuff. Lyrica ruined every aspect of my life alot of which i cannot regain.

Curlee Girl- Lyrica Survivors is an offshoot of this site. Several of us thought it would be a great way to get the word out about Lyrica. Roy is a member of the group so that's an easy way to find him.

On top of all these side effects. Lyrica caused me to have two Mini strokes. TIA's, they call them. Trans eschemic attacks. It also rots your teeth out. I went to a low cost(poor people) dental clinic and the doc wouldn't touch my teeth cuz he accused me of doing meth. thank God for backspace keys cuz I can't spell anymore. My short term memory is still bad and I quit the med about a year ago. Needless to say, I scarred the hell out of my children (in their early 20's). I don't Pfizer has enough money to make us all feel better.Too bad, so sad.

Vicki, I hope you are able to taper off Lyrica completely. It is bad medicine.

I was taking 300mg daily of lyrica for 3+ years for a diagnosis of fybromyalgia. I never received relief from this medication, it seemed that this medication worsened my symptoms and I developed problems with my vision. I told my doctor I was no longer going to take the lyrica. I have been lyrica free for almost 2 years. I still have body pain, sometimes so bad that I dont even want to get out of bed. I described this as a body toothache level 6-7 pain constantly and even though I walk almost daily to get the kinks out I suffer badly from just this simply exercise. My feet will never be the same, feels like I am ripping a rubber band in my feet. I do keep iced water bottles in freezer to ice my feet after walks and when I get up in the morning. I do have multiple problems with my back which may be the main factor of all my pain. I want to know if I should seek legal help for the prescibing of lyrica? Any feed back is helpful.

So far I have not had anyone tell me specifically that a lawsuit can be started against Lyrica and the manufacturers. I took it for some time and have suffered a lot because of it. My family noticed my memory problems and so did I. I have been off Lyrica for 8 months and am still not myself. I have no persistence to do anything, I am in a fog. I feel lost and also very alone in my suffering. My doctor does not believe me and I suspect he thinks I am a hypercondriac, however you spell it. I tried to tell him my legs were extremely swollen and hurt a lot. Three months later, I was simply getting into the back seat of my car and my leg popped. I had a stress fracture in my left tibia. I couldn't walk for 3 months without the help of a walker. It still hurts. I have not recovered from this drug and do not think I ever will fully recover. Between memory problems, concentration problems, pain in my legs, vision being blurry and not being able to think straight I feel like the rest of my life will be influenced by this drug even though I will NEVER take it again.

I hear you and agree with you. Some of your symptoms I had, only I would fall down a lot and not be able to get up. People also thought I was drunk even though the hospital I was working at did a blood test which was negative for alcohol. I thought I was fine. I did not not notice any side effects but others did. I am off it now but still suffer memory lapses. I think that is why I was forced to resign because of what lyrica did to me. I hope some one can find a lawyer to take them on.

Roy, did you get your degree yet? If so I am very interested in joining lawsuit. Have been on Lyrica for 7 years now in varying doses & now realize, after reading many posts here & elsewhere that many of the things I have been experiencing for years are actually because of this drug. Dr that originally prescribed was asked repeatedly about side effects & specifically told me there were very few & not serious! Please contact me...

This is a dangerous drug and many doctors r not Aware of it. Drug salesmen come in and only tell them about the benefits of the drug and it can be used to treat chronic pain besides fibramalagia. They only tell them.some of the side effects not ALLof them. They just want to sell the drug for the pharmachiticals. Not enough testing has been done. If they can recall an old fairly reliable drug like darvocet, then what about an unreliable drug like lyrica. I blame this drug for my losing my job in

Continuing my previous thought, I lost my job in 2007. Iwas given a choice resign or be fired. Iresigned, I was afraid I would not get any unemployment. I have not worked in the medical field since. I had worked as a nurse and respiratory therapist for 29 years!!!!

Maybe if we can find a lawyer in Canada who is also licensed to practice in the states, or if he knows lawyers here in the states that will handle this, Please let us know, in the mean time I am making calls to lots of attorneys so far no luck, but I think if we all make some callls we may get a resolution much faster.. thanks Lyrica suffering friends!

I had to get off Lyrica as it was killing me. My doctor prescribed decreasing doses of the drug over a period of six weeks. It was difficult to do but in the end very well worth it. Stay strong and find a doctor who will help you.

I contacted a lawyer group called rottenstein. They seem to deal in class action suits, lyrica, which I believe was never tested right or fully, then maybe they can help us with lyrica. They took darvocet off the market, which was @ least 20 years old. WE MUST CALL OUT AND UNITE! Contact them, for us and our loved ones. Maybe they will listen if we all do it.
