Lyrica Class Action Lawsuit (Page 6) (Top voted first)

Updated

If you have had an adverse reaction to Lyrica, please contact a law firm. I just called mine and gave them my basic information, and they will be having a lawyer contact us. This drug is dangerous, deadly, and should be pulled from the market. Amomg all the usual issues, today i noticed a new one had been added. For males, sperm motility can be affected and children created by parents using Lyrica, there is the possibility of birth defects. Please call and at least get on record with this firm. The more of us who call and tell our stories, the more likely it is that the drug company is going to have to cover our medical expenses, pain and suffering, etc.

Yes, I am. Do you have any details? My daughter took her life while on it. Whilst she was on other medications as well I believe lyrica played a big part in things.

I have contacted well over 25 attorneys and they all turn me down. In my whole life the only problem I have had was with my back. I was taking Gabapentin and for some reason they switched me to Lyrica. My heart and a valve have been damaged. I have a cardiologist and a vascular specialist. My heart rate used to be in the mid to high 60's, it stay's above 140 now, my intestines are looped and twisted, I have a GI doctor now. I had 20/10 vision. I have to wear sunglasses in my house and the curtains have to be closed. I can no longer drive. I have an eye doctor now. Because of my heart rate, they can no longer give me Epidural shot's, I just have to deal with it as best I can. I have constant pins and needles in my hands and feet. I lost my job. Nobody will help me.

Let's do it!! Lyrica has ripped my life to shreds!! I can't find an attorney to help me unless I was pregnant and Lyrica caused birth defects.

I was a vibrant, outgoing, hit the floor running, always on point, found the good in a bad situation person. I had a bad back but it really wasn't an issue. I was taking Gabapentin and getting epidural shot's for it. It didn't slow me down a bit. For some reason they switched me to Lyrica. I can't even leave my house now.

I did see that they had that as well but further down it said that they were open to hear about other cases. Crossing my fingers, toes and everything else that they can help! Keep us posted.

just have the doctor apply for what they refer to as a "SECTION #8"...Then it AUTOMATICALLY becomes covered through whatever payment plan you're on...i.e. O.D.S.P....Ontario Works...Whatever you're on it AUTOMATICALLY becomes COVERED...!!!!!

I am doing the same, waiting to be contacted from the law firms I called. Get the fda form and report it to the FDA. Here is the number to get the form (or you can do it online) 1-888-463-6332. If we flood them with complaints maybe someone will listen in the FDA who's involved in this to get it approved. I don't know but I'll find out and will post more info as I get it.

Exactly same situation ...to the letter gabapetin, then an unexpected change to lyrica? dr didnt alter dose...so prescribed 300mg tid. it took a couple weeks, then my brain is wiped.. im down to 50 3 times, and still dumb as a rock...make stupid decisions, snap at people, then completely forget...my mind is ravaged ...,apparently its a small side effect.

Same for me, I forget stuff I have known, short term memory gone. I so wish an attorney would take us serious. I live in FL no law suits yet. What are we waiting for?

Hi,
I took gabapentin but developed an allergy to it. Several years later, the Dr put me on Lyrica. Now with my history with medications, this was probably not a great idea but I went ahead and started it at a low dose. Any drugs that mess with my brain must be started extremely low. Well, the first week at 25mg 2x a day wasn't too bad but once I started to go up in dose, I began to hallucinate badly and started getting paranoid and depressed so I stopped that crap ASAP. I'm so glad I did. I'm so sorry so many of you have been hurt by this drug. It's wrong in so many ways!
