Lyrica 600mg

I'm on 600mg Lyrica.
But don't feel the effects.
I'm diagnosed by Neurologist as having Chronic Daily Headache
What's wrong with the meds?

Lyrica is not actually a straight analgesic, like a narcotic or NSAID, so you are not going to feel the same effects, as you would from something such as Oxycodone, or Acetaminophen, which are straight analgesics.

Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, which is actually an anticonvulsant and, by the very way it works on brain chemicals, it has also been shown to help with some forms of nerve pain.

However, not being a straight analgesic, it's not going to have the same effects that they do and it doesn't work as fast, it actually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full efficacy in your body.
