Lupus And Oxycodone

Is there anyone who is suffering with Lupus and if so does oxycodone help?

It was prescribed for my former sister-in-law to help deal with the aches and pains that she experienced from Lupus and she was quite happy with it. However, it can vary from person to person and she passed away years ago.

Can anyone that's currently taking it and diagnosed with Lupus chime in?

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I've had SLE Lupus for going on 20 years. For the last 2 years I've been taking pretnezone and benlysta and OxyContin 80mlg every 12 hours and 2 3mg every 4 hours. I have a normal life again. I can live pain free unless I'm going through a flare and only then do I feel bad but it's tolerable.
