Lupin 500 Can U Tan While Taking This

My mother in law gave meths told me it would help with bladder infection is it ok to take this and tan in the tanning bed also does it contain penicillin

Although it doesn't appear to be listed as a side effect on most webpages, photosensitivity is actually quite common in patients taking Lupin 500 (Cephalexin 500mg). Statistics show that 33% of males and 66% of females experience this side effect when taking Cephalexin.

That said, it's difficult to say whether or not it's safe for you to go tanning for any significant period of time. I would probably suggest playing it safe, but also would encourage you to listen to your body if you do decide to continue tanning. Maybe just do a few minutes at a time so you can make a more informed decision on how it might be affecting you.

To answer your other question, no, Cephalexin does not contain Penicillin, as it is the only active ingredient in and of itself.
