Lunesta And The Flu
UpdatedI have been diagnosed with the flu and told to get lots of sleep. I have severe insomnia. I take Lunesta every night to sleep, or I don’t sleep. Can I another Lunesta 12 hours later to sleep during the day as well?

Hello, Deidra! How are you? I'm sorry that you're sick!
No, it would be best to take it only as prescribed. Taking too much could result in next day impairment, and possible overdose, according to the NIH.
I tried this once years ago and it caused a very nasty taste in my mouth, rather metallic and I couldn't get rid of it, no matter what I tried.
Have you experienced such a problem?
