Lower Abdominal Pain After Taking Coveram 10mg/10mg (Top voted first)
UpdatedI am 49 years old, female. I've been on Coveram 5mg/5mg for more than 2 years. Two weeks ago my doctor increased the dose of Coveram to 10mg/5mg, because by bp was consistently high. Now I am having lower abdominal pain (dull pain) after a week of taking it. Is this a side effect?

Hello, Alice! How are you?
There is chance that it could be due to the medication, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
However, it would be best to inform you doctor to be sure, because it could also be due to some other issue.
Has there been any change?
I stopped taking it for 2 days (I went back to 5mg), with no pain. I took it again (Coveram 10mg) today because my bp was high again. Still no pain. I will go and check with my GP on Saturday though.
Thank you!
