Low Blood Pressure After Taking Belviq

I am so sleepy after taking belviq. Had to reduce to once a day. My blood pressure is low, too. Does anyone have same side effect?

The low blood pressure is very odd, usually Belviq causes the opposite issue. What are you blood pressure readings?

The same for the drowsiness, but there is a chance it could be causing low blood sugar and that may doing it.

This might not be the right medication for you to take, you may need to try something else.

That is not true. Belviq does not cause an increase in blood pressure.

I took Beliviq two (2) days, felt terrible. I took my blood pressure about an hour after taking Beliviq the second evening and it was very low 72/54.... The next morning is was up to 86/66. I didn't take it the next day and my blood pressure was back to normal. I felt tired during the two days and slow to react. I'm a little nervous about my work for those two (2) days. Also, I slept thru my alarm, which has never happened. I think my husband liked it because I was very passive and didn't want to do anything, or ask him to do anything. Two (2) days was enough for me....I will not finish the prescription.
