Love My Trintellix

Tapering off of Cymbalta and starting 10 mg of Trintellix for 7 days soon to increase to 20 mg. I have suffered with Major Depressive Disorder for 23 years. Tried so many antidepressants and settled with Cymbalta. Take Abilify 20 mg. No side effects so far. Seem to have less fatigue, more energy and increased ability to focus. I have ADD and take 70 mg Vyvanse. Overall, very pleased with Trintellix. I can honestly say this was a Godsend. My family has noticed a difference in me already. Amazing drug well worth the high cost. Blessed insurance finally agreed to cover after several appeals and pleas for help.

Awesome! I am so happy that this medication is working so well for you.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation.

You may experience more, when you go to the next dosage level.

Can anyone else that's on this medication chime in with their experience?

I have been on it for two days only and I swear I already feel better! No side effects as of yet.

I started Trintillex 7 weeks ago first 2 weeks good no side effects then boom insomnia getting 2 hrs sleep one night 4 hours another night. Sorry was taking only 5mg then cut down to 2.5mg. I was so dizzy l fell over. And my balance was off. I have MDD it help with energy but l was very irritatable as well. So now lam tapering off.

I have been suffering with major depression for 20 years and I've tried about 6 antidepressants lam very! sensitive to these antidepressants. Does anyone have any experience with a good antidepressant with less side effects. I was thinking of trying Lexapro very low dose. Thanks j
