Is this medication available in the US my doctor has not heard of it? I would like to know who is the manufactuter. I had this script from Australia - threw out the box for travel purposes so cannot find manufacturer?

The correct name of the active ingredient is Fluoxetine, it is commonly sold in the U.S. under the brand name Prozac.
So yes, it is available in the U.S. You will need to tell your doctor that it is Prozac or the generic.
