Lost My Valium Prescription Paper

I lost my prescription paper for valium. I have MS and taking valium is NECESSARY for sleep.She REFUSED my request that she write me another one and said i have to wait three months. I live in CA. What can i do?

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. It is your responsibility to keep track of your written prescriptions and, if you lose one, your doctor is under no obligation to provide you with a new one.

However, a sudden withdrawal from a benzodiazepine, after long-term use, can create the risk of your experiencing seizures, as listed by the FDA. Thus, if you start to experience severe withdrawals, that may also include nausea, irritability, headache, diarrhea and/or seizures , you should seek emergency medical treatment.

Do you have any idea where you lost it? Did you misplace it at home, where you could look for it?
