Lost Job Due To Adderall Showing Up On Drug Screen As Methamphetamine

My husband worked at a factory for 22 1/2 yrs. A new company recently took over the drug testing of employees. He has been on Adderall for years and this was known and reported to his supervisor routinely. The company said no problem as long as you have a prescription. When he was drug tested after the new company started testing, a nurse said this was not possible and he was terminated. I have read several articles and talked to several people that say this is very possible. My problem is I need facts in writing stating this is very common. Does anyone know of any reference books, web pages, or anything where this is documented?

Sry for his n your lose, as far as I know depending upon the job you do whether it be frys n burgers or running cranes, if you have a script from your PC doctor u shouldn't have an issue. Now u mentioned new owners?? Maybe there policy, I've heard of this one other time but it was a different situation. If I was you or your husband I would call a lawyer,if it was unnecessary and wrong then I'm absolutely sure the lawyer will take your case.(ya know ambulance chasers bka, civil lawyers) hope I helped!!
