Losartan Question

If I take 100mg of Losartan at 6:00 am can I take it again at 4:00pm? I am currently taking 10mg of Amlodipine but it does not work as well as I want it to. I have not been on the Amlodipine but about 3 was. The Losartan works much better. Can I take the loser tan again at 4:00 instead of Amlodipine?

Hello, Bug! How are you? Can you please post back and clarify as to what you mean by saying it does not work as well as you want it to?

It takes about 4 weeks for these medications to reach their full level of efficacy in your body, so you've not been on the Amlodipine long enough to know how well it will work for you and you should not adjust the dosage of any medication, on your own.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
