Losartan Possible Side Effects

Hello I was prescribed lisinpril for about 2 months but could not stand the dry cough. I've been off lisinprl for over 2 week but still carry this nasty cough. I have been taking Losartan for approximately one week could it be the losartan that continues to cause the dry cough? I'm totally frustrated!

Hello, Rena! How are you?

It may take about a month for the cough to stop. I have the same problem with Lisinopril and hated it for that reason and it did take about 4 weeks for the cough to completely go away.

Side effects to the Losartan may include nausea, dizziness, hypotension and headache.

Is there anything else I can help with?
