Losartan Sever Reaction

I only took a single dose before going to be. The next day I woke up with minor itching on the left side of my neck. Then I noticed my neck was getting tight and the left side of my neck was swelling down to the back of my upper shoulder. The losartan was the only thing new that I had taken. Has anyone else had similar happen to them while on this medication? Is it possible to have such a reaction so soon after taking medication.

Yes, that can happen, if you're allergic to a medication. Have you contacted your doctor? You will most likely need to try something else, because allergic reactions usually continue to worsen with exposure.

As listed by the FDA, you may also experience trouble breathing, skin rash and hives.
