Losartan Potassium. 25mg

I started Losartan 7 days ago and BP has not gone down. How long does it take to start lower BP?
Today's reading 142/83 and 135/87.

It may take a month, or so, for it to reach its full level of efficacy and to see how well it will work for you. I've been taking it for several years and am very happy with the results.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

Is there anything else I can help with?
