I tested negative once for the one narcotic pain pill, lortab, that I am prescribed and my doctor ran a panel of tests called "assay of bendodiazepines, opiates, amphetamine, cocaine, methadone, meprobomate, barbiturates, dihydromorphinone, to be certain that I was not having a false negative drug screen and it costs over $2,300.00. Is this kind of test used to show what and how much would be in my system over a 30 day period? I was negative for everything, but that was a lot of money for no apparent reason that I could see, since I tested negative on my initial in office drug screen?

I go to a pain management clínic but They said I had zanax in my urine I dont take zanax nor do I even like it. There are there Medicine that I take that are new Flexeril , Lortab and Hydroxyzine Pam 25mg. Please Let me know if any of these can make you show positive for zanax . Thank You {edited for privacy} ## Fyi in case anyone needs this info the Flexeril and Hydroxyzine combine together to make tests show a false positive for Xanax. I had the same thing happen and received this explanation from my Dr.

I was on lortab for 6 years. They stoppd workn and my doctor wouldn't raise or switch me to another med. Then he died. I starts getn pills off the street because I couldn't get another Dr fast. I went to local Dr and he talked me into suboxone. I stayed on that for 7 months but it wasn't helping with my pain. Great for the withdrawals though. That's been 4 years ago. I recently told I have carpal tunnel. I suffer from neck pain,knee pain.back pain and now my hands throb. It hard for me to clean my house or enjoy life. My problem is even though its beem 4 years can't find a Dr that will help. That same Dr told me he'd put me back on subs but I don't want them I need something for pain. I was diagnosed heavy inflammation by my pcp latter cidp by a neurologist. The pcp put me first on lortab took me off and put me on Norco right before I went to the neurologist for a second opinion. If I get my hair pulled for a drug test will lortabs show up in my system. I've been taking them for a while but I'm going to stop cause I have a hair pulled test in two weeks. ## shorty i think your out of luck, a hair sample can show things youve done in the last several months. ## Will oxycodone and hydrocodone show up at the same time if they pull hair?

I have been on lortab over 10 yrs. For several reasons : neck & shoulders, gymnastics injuries, lower back pain and headaches for 30yrs , two screws in my right shoulder. I have severe neck pain & headaches ## You will have to have a legimate prescription for it from a dr in the U.S. who is licensed to prescribe it.

I am taking 1 10-325 Lortab after a knee replacement. In the hospital they were giving me 2 every 4 hours. One is absolutely not making it during the night. The Acetaminophen in this can be very dangerous to your liver, so taking too much for too long could result in liver damage or failure. I usually take 2 lortab 7.5 every 6 hours. I haVe been reading a lot about the different in hydro and oxcy and the Tylenol in and what the numbers mean. Talking with friends who only have limited to none knowledge about the subject I heard about a lortab 10 or lartab 20? Is it more hydro fro pain relief or just more Tylenol added to them? I've had 3 back surgery and I am want more of the burning pain to go away. To me lartabs worked better than oxcy 5 or 10s. ## The highest amount of medication in Lortab, or any other hydrocodone combination med is 10 mg hydrocodone and 325 acetaminphen. The most amount of acetaminphen that a prescription meds can contain now is 325 mg.

Just a general question..I've read u can inject just about anything. ## Well, it's definitely NOT the smart thing to do!!! Since 1-2007 I have been taken 10mg lortab--180 monthly. Quantity received this month were 10mg lortab--140 monthly. Very upset! My health has not improved. Actually there are times where pain meds do not do the job. Mostly when it rains or when it's cold outside. My doctor is aware of this. I finally informed her. I'm a 34 yr old woman and have had 2 hip replacements in the past 4 months. I had to travel 3 hours to a specialist to have them done. Since they changed the prescribibg laws I couldn't get my regular pain meds called in. Loratab 7.5 mg. My ortho told me to go se my general practitioner until I came back to him for follow up. My general prescribed me vicoproffen 7.5. What's the difference? Is one more effective than the other? ## Both meds are covered by the new Federal Law. If I wanna drug test someone in my household for either Lortab or oxycodone can I just buy a opiates drug test rather than the prescription drug test due to the fact there is a 20 dollar difference and if it reads negative will that be the same result as if tested at the lab for a job ## Yes, they are both in the opiate family, so it will test positive if he /she is taking them. Certain variations such as tramadol, methadone, and suboxone won't show up on that test, but the most common opiates will.

hydrocodone bitartrate elixir is being discontinued, i can only take oral solutions, ; oral cancer surgery, is there a substitution> ## Hi jetta, From what I could gather, the following three pain medications are also listed as having an oral liquid solution available: methadone oxycodone dilaudid (hydromorphone) There probably are many more options out there, but those are just a few possible alternatives I came across after a quick google search. I would also recommend discussing other options with your doctor, since he/she knows your medical history and can make certain suggestions based on what's worked for you in the past.
