has tylenol been taken out of lortab 10/500 ## It hasn't been taken out, but reduced because of the effects on the liver. ## FDA now requires all prescription meds to have no more than 325 mg of tylenol in each dose. There is a form of Hydrocodone that does not contain tylenol. It is an Extended Release, it is Zohydro. ## Lortab 10/500 contains 10 mg of hydrocodone and 500mgs. of acetaminifen (Tylenol) if ya need something strong go on up to percocet (Oxycodine) and come in strengths from 5 MG's of oxy all the way up to 80 MG's. of oxy per pill

This is Geno, and I have been on opiate pain Meds since 1992, when I had my 4th of 9 final Knee Surgeries. I was on Lortab,10mgs/500. In 2003 I was in a head on Auto Accident, Fracturing 4 Vertibrae, 12 Ribs, Crushed Sternum, 2 broken ankles, and spent 22 days in Hospital. I am now 67, had no problem getting approved for Disability, then 2 yrs after that Medicare. My Pain Dr. at the time, would write me 180 Methadone, 180 Hydrocodone, and Xanax 60 for sleep. He was a Huge Hockey fan, played it, and moved back to Canada. When I bring EVERY X-Ray's, MRI's, CAT Scans, and all the Meds and dosage that I was getting. Since then, 2006, I have NOT been able to find a Pain Dr. who will give me the same amount. So for the last 4-5 days, I am out of The Hydrocodone (120 a month) but still...

I have been taking this medication and 100mgs of morphine plus alot of other meds for different reasons after a horrific car accident. I stopped the morphine bc I can't be a zombie I have disabled twins. It took awhile to get off the morphine. Now they wanna just stop giving Lortabs tens to me cold turkey. I have autistic twins to care for I have to be able to walk and stand up. Is there anything for pain they can give that will help? Ultram. And those drugs have bad affects on me.

I'm a 28 year old in filing for disability with severe depression a anxiety as well as Arthritis and fibromyalgia. I'm unable to work and have been on the dose of 10/325 mg Lortab two times a day #60 a month. My pcp has been prescribing it since I was dismissed on good terms with my pain dr since no spinal procedures to block pain helped and he didn't just so scripts. My pcp is no longer covered under my insurance and so I'm looking for a pain dr who accepts passport Medicaid insurance and would prescribe this type of medication. Ice been at two pills a day for 4 years but wanted to increase to 3 and my dr won't allow this. Any help appreciated

I have been on lortabs for about 10 years,i am going to try an just get off them cold turkey but i have been priscribed 10mg.of methadone to take 1 at night,my question is why cant i stop the lortab an then like day 2 of withdraw take a methadone an then maybe 1 or 2 more times during that week.I havent taken the methadone yet and i dont want to take it ,only a couple times to try an help with the tab withdraws,CAN THIS WORK? ## I understand your concern, because the Methadone itself can be highly addictive, so you don't want to just end up trading one medication for another. If I take two lortabs today and also take a lasix water pill will that pill clean out my system by tomorrow? ## It's unlikely that you'll be clean in only a day, as Lortab (Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen) can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. However, because this drug is excreted through the urine, drinking plenty of water along with the use of a diuretic (such as Lasix), may prove to be the difference in whether or not you pass. I can't be certain though, since everyone is different and the odds are against you passing, due to the time constraint.
