Lortab And Oxycodone Drug Test

If I wanna drug test someone in my household for either Lortab or oxycodone can I just buy a opiates drug test rather than the prescription drug test due to the fact there is a 20 dollar difference and if it reads negative will that be the same result as if tested at the lab for a job

Yes, they are both in the opiate family, so it will test positive if he /she is taking them. Certain variations such as tramadol, methadone, and suboxone won't show up on that test, but the most common opiates will.
