Loosing Weight On Eflaten Meds

Hi. Been on Eflaten for one year six months and gradually lost 10kgs since. I am loosing my appetite as well. I have told my doctor but she suggested that changing treatment is not advisable. Someone said I should go on mild steroids. Please help! My clothes are no longer fitting me.

That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes.

However, it could also be caused by your condition, which might be why your doctor does not want to switch to a different treatment option.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Not much improvement. I am experiencing nausea, sometimes tiredness and definitely mood changes. I am depressed all the time and hardly eat. What I noticed is that I have seem to have lost most of my tastebuds. My diet usually is predominantly very bland food. Is there suggestions to improve my appetite and gain weight?
