Loose Skin Major Weight Loss (top Heavy) But Brittle Bones?

I had to Cushing's syndrome which caused me to go from 125 to 320 lbs. I had my adrenal glands removed or I would have died. I also have neuropathy on my left leg. But since I am a small person, I have so much excess skin hanging down and my whole life I've worn a size d in a bra so my breasts are hanging also. I have to walk with the crutch. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do besides surgery (which I am in the middle of trying) that could move my skin back to where it's supposed to be? Therefore I could probably just walk with a cane.

It isn't moving your skin back to where it's supposed to be, it is that the excess weight caused your skin to become very stretched out, so now you have excess that will most likely have to be surgically removed. Unfortunately, it is a very common problem that many people experience, when they gain a lot of weight, then lose it. One it is removed, it should really help you to be able to function better, the NIH reports that such surgeries are usually very successful.

How old are you? Whether or not anything can be done about the breast sagging, other than reconstructive surgery, will really depend on that. All of us ladies develop some sagging as we age and there's isn't always much that can be done about.

What medication(s) are you currently taking?
