wore a back brace a 17 yrs old for crooked spine. spne still crooked and suffered with chroic pain for 45 yrs. Been taking oxycodone 10-325 for over 7 yrs but dr. no longer will prescribe. Going to pain specialiast but he ssems to be interested in his pocket book and not my health as I have to go in every 3 weeks to get pills and he is carelees and forgets what he even says.. He promised he would accept my ins payment and write off all other expences but now insists I pay back all other bills before seeing me again. I havn't had an income for over a yr. because of back to bad to work. waiting for disability to go thru, but attourney says it can take up to 3 yrs. need helps now, finding a new family physican that will care enough to prescribe what I have been taking for many yrs. L Live in Wichita Ks.

Which medication were you taking?
Norco contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, but Oxycodone with Acetaminophen is the generic for Percocet. Can you please post back and clarify?

Many family physicians will no longer prescribe controlled substances, due to the new DEA directives. Have you considered consulting a pain management specialist?
