Looking For A Doctor Not Clinic In Mckinney Texas

Hi Im on 58 mgs of Methadone now I'm going to a clinic but it getting hard to pay for it it help with my back pain . I started taking Methodone to quit talking pain meds in so happy to be off pills but since I'm self pay it getting hard I'm looking for a Doctor in McKinney Texas not a clinic if I can get a doctor to prescribe Methodone my insurance will pay for it .I'm disabled and have Medicare and united healthcare for insurance . I hate the clinic the people there are just there for the money they do care about the people at all . I ask to start lowering my dose because I started having trouble with my breathing I have COPD and they got mad they never did when I wanted to go up only when I side I wanted to go down .The couseler will not even speak to me.sge was really nice and was talking about give me take outs until I said I wanted to start lowering my dose then everything changed so that tells me it's all about the money .

Unfortunately, under current U.S. law, a regular doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment, even if that's not why you were going to the clinic. Once that is in your medical records, a clinic is your only option.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
