Local Doctors That Prescribe Methadone For Pain

I am curious on any doctors that earned my local area which is comes in Michigan that will prescribe methadone for pain. I currently have a full-time job and I'm not able to go to the Victory methadone clinic due to my hours at work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and helpful thank you.

Unfortunately, if you have been going to a Methadone clinic, which is traditionally used for treating drug addiction, then a regular private practice physician cannot prescribe Methadone for you, regardless of why you were going there. Under current U.S. law, it is illegal for them to do so, since the fact that you were in a Methadone clinic treatment program is in your medical records.

It sucks, I really hate to have to be the bearer of bad news like this, and you are not the first person this has happened to, and I am sure there will be many more.

The FDA warns that Methadone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
