Lo Loestrin Fe And Other Medications

I started taking Lo loestrin fe on the first day of my period, but I also took an adovan that morning, I had a antibiotic shot a couple days earlier. I stopped all other medications after the first day of taking Lo. Am I still covered since I took it on day 1?

Some antibiotics can alter the efficacy of oral contraceptives. Which antibiotic were you given?

The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms.

The Ativan wouldn't affect it.
