Lo Loestrin Fe Missed Period After 10 Months (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have been on this pill for 11 months now... since September 2014. My periods were irregular at first but started to become more regular. In the middle of June I missed 2 pills in a row. I took them both the next day however. I then started my period a week early right after I took those 2 pills late (I was camping with girls who were on their period, so I figured that's why I started early). Once I got off of my period, I had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend. I have not missed a pill since those 2 in June but it is now time that I should be having my period if it is a normal 26-32 day cycle. I usually wouldn't start until the end of the month but last month I started in the middle. I am worried because I have been experiencing what could be pregnancy symptoms. I noticed a weird white discharge at the end of June and am now urinating frequently and am constantly tired. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Might I just be missing this period altogether because of the Loestrin? It seems weird that at 11 months of taking it I would suddenly miss my period. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Emma! How are you?
First of all, if you miss pills and take them late, that can throw off your hormones and cause you to start your period early. It likely had nothing to do with the fact that the other girls were experiencing theirs.
Additionally, missing pills increases your risk of pregnancy, so yes, there is a chance that you may be pregnant. Have you consulted your doctor?
However, some women stop having periods after being on this one for awhile. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain.

Hello, Tam! How are you?
As long as it's within about 12 hours or so, then no, it won't affect anything.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
I been taking this pills 3 months ago and I'm not getting my period my doctor says that is completely normal with this pill but I'm worried about if this is going to bring me side effects with time if I keep taking it
I took my first white pill today. This is my first month on Lo lo Fe. When should I expect my period, and about how long will it last?
