Lo Loestrin Fe Missed Three Pills

Hi, I've been taking lo loestrin Fe for a while now and I'm really good at taking my pills regularly. However, this past week has been a mess. I had to fill my prescription on Monday but I was supposed to take a pill on Sunday night. So I took it as soon as I got my refill. Then I somehow missed Monday night, Tuesday night, and last night. I woke up, realized that I forgot and freaked out. I took the three pills. Then I read that if you miss three or more pills you must start a new pack. What does that mean? I already took the three I missed. If I were to start a new pack would I start on the first Thursday? (Today) help!!

Unless your doctor instructs you otherwise, you can continue with this pack, but use a backup method of contraception, until you've taken the active tablets, without missing any for a full 7 days, which means no unprotected intercourse, until the 8th day.

You may, however, experience irregular bleeding.

Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, weigh gain, mood swings and PMS like symptoms.
