Lo Loestrin Fe - Missed Periods (Page 13)

I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal?

I've been Lo Loestrin Fe when I just turned 17 in high school. I am now 19 and a sophomore in college. I have never once gotten a period in all the time since then. Still have the same boyfriend and everything too lol. My doctor said as soon as I eventually stop taking it, I will get my period back. Yes I have taken a few pregnancy tests because I was bleeding...but later realized it was because I had gotten scratched on the inside of me during foreplay/sex... And soMetimes you get a fair amount of discharge but rest assured, it is all normal. But anyways, Hope this helps!!! :)

The white pills ARE active pills, so yes - they are important! The brown pills are the only inactive pills, and those can be missed.

I am taking this too, and before taking this I had a really regular period that was pretty easy to predict. but I am on my 3rd pack now and I did not get a period this time when I had white and brown pills. This worries be only because I have never missed a period. But, I have had a really weird sleep schedule so that may throw off my period. I have cramps that feel like I should start at any moment but I haven't yet don't. today I started a new pack. I mean I had sex but it was always protected with a condem. I am just a little confussed and worried.

I'm in my 3rd month and missed my period already! I'm 39, my husband uses condoms and I take the pill but I'm still freaking out about not having a period!Ah took the test, came negative, but again not having a period me!

If u arent used to not having period.i wont advice taking this pills.i stop taking this pills after two months,because as we all know havi v no period will always drive you crazy.

Hello friends and ladies! I saw that a lot of you have had the same issue with missed/no periods at all. I've had a gastric bypass surgery and had irregular periods my life even with being on Loestrin24. I had my ovaries checked too (all normal) and a normal pap exam. My doctor put me on Lo Loestrinfe. I started in the beginning of November without any period. Should I check in with my doctor and make sure this is a normal reaction?

I was on Lo loestrin fe and the first month I had a light period and the second month not at all! Not one drop. I was scared to death but had negative tests. I even had pregnancy like symptoms. I switched pills once my dr. Said it can make you miss your period. I got one normally the next month. I do not like this pill at all. But yes, it's normal to miss your period completely.

I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe for two months. I'm having signs that my period is going to start (brown discharge, cramping, mood swings) I'm 14. I had unprotected sex but, he peed before and pulled out before he could finish. I take my pill at 8:00 pm every night. Haven't missed a pill. I take my first brown one today. Is this normal? Someone please help!

I'd been having problems with heavy bleeding/periods for over a year before deciding to find a new doctoer. My new Doc recommended & prescribed Lo Loestrin Fe. After my 1st full month of taking it I've received tremendous results...I've went from bleeding 7-10 days heavily to bleeding only one day. I'm well pleased.

No need to worry. I have been on Lo Loestrin for almost 3 years now and have not had my period since. My first month, I freaked out. Second month, went back to my gyn to switch pills because I was really worried. My Dr was shocked that a woman actually wants to have a period and also assured me that it is perfectly fine not to have a period and it is from the birth control pills. So I basically take a pregnancy test every couple of months just to be on the safe side.
But ladies, be aware, if u miss one pill u will immideatly begin to spot. Miss two pills and u might get your period.

Like most of you I have almost never gotten a period on Lo Loestrin. The exception is when I take off more than 2 days for the sugar pills, then almost immediately I get it. I do this sometimes to reassure myself that I'm not pregnant or when I mess up ( missed days or in consistent) that way I can have my period and then start fresh with a new pack. This month because of traveling and stress I missed quite a few pills so I stopped taking them so I would get my period so I could start a new pack and get back on track.Period has not yet come and it's been almost 2 weeks! I've taken one test- negative and am terrified to take another. Although I know it's common to not get your period while on Lo Loestrin, is it common to not get it when you stop taking it?

I've been on lo loestrin fe since July and I haven't missed any pills. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about a week and a half ago but I don't think he finished in me. I was supposed to get my period sometime in the past couple days but I haven't yet. I have had thick kind of brownish discharge though but not what my period usually is like. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Hey so this actually isn't about missed periods (I don't get periods anymore except for occasional spotting/cramping around the time I should have one and I've been on lo loestrin for a year and a half so yes it is normal to not have periods on this birth control!) so I've been on lo loestrin for a year and five months and for the first few months I got pretty bad bloating for days and sometimes weeks at a time but up until recently I only had some bloating occasionally. Since about February 12th however when I was finishing the last week of my pack I've been having really bad bloating consistently everyday, sometimes on and off and sometimes all day. I also had a bad skin rash that I never got diagnosed but has seemed to have gone away in the past two weeks, and I've almost experience a feeling of shortness of breath, lightheaded ness and a feeling like I'm going to pass out twice when I was eating my first meal of the day in the past month or so. I'm wondering if it's possible this could be from lo loestrin or if it's something else I should go to a doctor for. Thanks

You should take a pregnancy test!

But definitely see a doctor. Could be your birth control but could be many other things... I just dont see how after a year u would start to get all these symptoms. . But im sure it is possible.

I had unprotected sex yesterday with my boyfriend. And today I just started taking Lo loestrin fe. Uhm I really don't want to get pregnant but how many pills should I take after having unprotected sex? (Yesterday I had unprotected sex)

You should only skip the last 2 pills, they are the only no hormone pills in lo loestrinfe (not the last 4). The 2 before that still have some progesterone in them on days 25&26, notice they are different colors.

I believe u should be on the pill at least two weeks before having unprotected sex. You should take the plan b pill.
