Lo Loestrin Fe (help!! Please!!)

On the 19th of this month my boyfriend and I had intercourse. At first he didn't use a condom, then I made him put one on. I've been on Lo Loestrin Fe for almost three months now and I'm not supposed to get my period for two weeks. Yesterday I got breakthrough bleeding and now I'm on my period. I haven't been the best this month with taking my pill at the same time although I've never missed a pill. What is wrong? I read something that said I could be pregnant is this possible? Someone please help! Thank you!

Hello, Katie! How are you? Sorry about the problem you're having.

If you didn't miss any pills, then there's a very, very small chance that you could be pregnant. Its most likely been caused by your taking them at odd times. Some women's bodies are very sensitive to that, I used to have the same problem with one that I tried many years ago, after having my son. I ended up being switched to a different one by my doctor that worked much better for me, without causing that.

You should consult your doctor, just to be sure and you may also need to switch to a different one.

Thank you for the reply! But yes I was wondering if that means I'll get my period again when I was originally supposed to. My doctor is not reachable at this time due to a death in his family so I appreciate the reply.
