Livalo/pitavastatin/pivasta

Are these three all basically the same drug? I'm taking Livalo now (too expensive)
Will pivasta be the same result? (much less expensive)

Yes, Pitavastatin is the active ingredient, Livalo and Pivasta are just brand names for it.

This medication is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches.
