List Of Manufacturers Pharmacies Use (Top voted first)

Is there any way to find out which manufacturer a pharmacy uses? I have been on Camber 7.5mg Oxycontin and they are awful. Pharmacies I've called (Wal-Mart and Rite Aid) said they do not discuss the narcotics they carry over the phone.

Hello Scrappy,

I understand your frustrations with the situation and I empathize. Unfortunately there is no way that I know of to force a pharmacy to disclose information about any drug that isn't prescribed to you currently.

The reasoning behind them not disclosing what kinds of drugs, primarily narcotics, is because they are high theft items. From what I have experienced, pharmacies are much more likely to answer your questions in person while you are on camera than over the phone. You may find better luck by physically going into the location. It's a bit more time consuming but if the depending on how important this information is to you it might be worth your while.

Thank you. I was just trying to save a trip. I'm disabled and rely on a cab. I understand their fear of getting robbed though. I had a convenient pharmacy a block away from my house but the closed because of being robbed too many times.

Ah, sorry I couldn't save you the trip then. Hopefully you were able to enjoy some good weather while out.

It's sad but I've heard of a lot of great pharmacies having to shut down because they keep getting robbed. It's a terrible but very real situation.
