I was wondering if Lisinopril is a generic medication for Diovan? ## No, Lisinopril is NOT a generic for diovan; rather it is a generic blood pressure medication for Prinivil. I take 40mg per day myself. ## Actually its an alternative not its generic form. ## priscilla..isnt that what I said..tat it was NOT a generic for Diovan rather it was generic for PRINIVIL, which obviously would be an alternative. ## The other posters are correct, Diovan's active ingredient is Valsartan. Another name brand for Lisinopril would be Zestril.

What is a small oval tablet that is pink or peach and has APO on one side and L10 on the other, and what strength is it? It does not look like the previous Lisinopril I have taken and I want to be certain I have the correct medication. Thank you. ## Yes, you have the correct med, this is 10mgs of Lisinopril.
