Lisinopril 5mg - New Side Effects (dizziness And Drowsiness)

After almost 4 years on Lisinopril 5mg, I started experiencing moderate dizziness and drowsiness. The symptoms begin about 1-2 hours after I take my medicine, and peak about 4 hours after taking it. I saw another person on the forums just recently had a similar issue which they had linked to a change in the manufacturer. Interestingly enough, I was able to pinpoint the day that my problems started - and it happened to be on the day I had my prescription refilled. On a whim, I checked my Walgreens and sure enough, in the past 30 days, they had also switched to a new manufacturer as well.

I'm checking with my doctor now, but thought I would post this here in case anyone else finds it helpful.

There's a chance that the new tablets you received are a little higher in the amount of the active ingredient, so your blood pressure may be going lower than normal.

Have you ever checked it during the time period when you are feeling such symptoms? Do you have a monitor at home?
